Boy oh boy has this winter been a doozy. While we love getting out on the slopes, the record setting snowfall for February has been tough to keep off our driveways. Luckily, we’re only a few days away from the official start to spring, and we can’t wait for outdoor running season to get in stride. And for us, that means the Spring Loaded Brewfest and the festive 5K Fun Run showcasing Lake Tahoe!

Spring Loaded Brewfest and 5K Fun Run Event Details

This year’s event kicks off Friday, March 29th. Around 3:30 pm, we’ll start with live music and a beer tasting sponsored by Sierra Nevada. Then on Saturday, March 30th, we’ll continue the fun at high noon. Expect more awesome live music, additional beer tastings and of course the 5K Fun Run. Got any friends that aren’t runners or walkers but want to participate in something fun? Don’t worry… there’s a corn hole tournament for those socializers in your crew later in the day!

Brewery Speaker Series & Homebrew Contest

After all that, for those homebrewers or beer aficionados out there, the Brewery Speaker Series is just for you. It’s your chance to learn some tips and tricks from brewers around the area as well as a few folks from major beer companies. Think you got the chops with your brewing skills? Well, you should enter the Homebrew Contest! Or, make sure you cast your vote as to who makes the best homebrew!
