What Happened To Half Off?
For those that have joined us in years past, we’ve offered a one-time 50% off discount if you sign-up within the first week of the race. Unfortunately for 2019, we ran into a significant increase in expenses. If you’ve never really thought about it, our race runs through two states, five counties, and two cities. That’s a lot of jurisdictions and many rules have changed when it comes to running an event like ours. From requiring us to use electronic signage, increased permit costs, and adding more traffic control officers throughout the route, that’s only a short list of new rules to consider. This event has always been a labor of love, and we want to make sure the tradition continues for many years to come, so we hope you understand.
